I found out just this morning of Raoul Denton's passing. He and I were associates aboard PAX River.
On behalf of myself and those of us that knew him personally and/or professionally, I offer my sincere condolences.
Speaking for myself, I will miss him. He and I shared a similar sense of humor.
Many times we would share jokes and quite often would both be laughing before the other was finished, or we would get to the punchline before the other.
I will miss him.
Rest in peace my friend.

Hi
Nice website. Just wanted to let you guys know we are the new owners of your Brush-2 Truck ( 1992 Chevy ). We are a smaller rural department in NE Ohio. App. 25 mile East of Canton, Ohio ( Home of the NFL Hall of Fame ). We are happy to get it. It will be replacing a 1972 Chevy that we bought new. We will give it a good home.

I wanted to say Thanks. I had just got home this December evening and heard the familiar sounds of the MVFD touring through my neighborhood with Santa on the back of one of your trucks. Even at the age of 42 I stood at the door to watch him go by! I love the tradition. I hope you all have the opportunity to do it a couple of more times before Christmas Day. Thanks again for all that you do for our community and a special Thanks for that crazy damn fool that stands on the back of the truck in this chilly weather. Tim.

Thanks for adding older christmas parties on your Santa schedule page. It sure did my heart good to see year 2000 and 2001. My beloved Ross was there then and participating. Thanks for the memories. Keep up the great work and help. Sandra Asher

You guys have a great website. I like watching all your videos, especially the one that has Tanker 2 responding to the house that was struck by lightning. Tanker 2 is an awesome looking truck and I really like Tanker Fire trucks. Don't get me wrong, though, I like all fire units. It's just that Tankers have a uniqueness about them and since I was little, I have always liked Tankers most of all. I would like to hear from someone if I could.

Hey guys, I love your website. I really love E 23 & 24 (I watched the youtube vids).
E24 is a beast!!! Is it a pumper/tanker?
I love the Pcall/Q on E23. Alot of ppl dont like the Pcall...I would rather hear the Pcall with the Q than an elec set on YELP. In my opinion, the Pcall is great when the path is clear and the Pcall/Q combo is great for heavy traffic and/or intersections...you?
You have my e-mail, just e-mail me back and let me know what you think

I want to commend each and every one of the active fire fighters as well as the Auxilary Members. I know from experience how much of your personal time goes into what you do, and look how much you have expanded, that is amazing. You ALL should be very proud of what you do and all the training you've gone through to get you to where you are today. Our Volunteer Rescuers through out St. Mary's deserve so much more than a Thank You!
Keep up the wonderful things you do to keep the community safe!

G'day again! Those guys look a little tired after the five hour brush fire. Know what that's like, we get a few support calls to that type of fire - no real wildfire risk in our own area (outer suburb of Melbourne, the State capitol).
You certainly used a few appliances on that job! And that's good in my book, call them out, it's easy to cancel them if there's not needed.
I like the idea of the Auxiliary providing food and drink - that's been virtually stopped here. There were people saying that food has to be prepared by fully trained and qualified food handlers... I don't know, I haven't heard of an auxiliary killing anyone yet!
Keep it up, and I'll keep coming back and checking what's happening there :)
I want to thank everyone that responded to the MVA at Rt.5 & 236 Tuesday 9/25/07. You took very good care of my daughter, who was involved in the crash. She and I both are very greatful to all of you. I appreciate the quick response and the care you provide for all of us.
Hi All,
Thanks for such a nice tribute to my brother Joe. He had a 1st. class send off by 1st. class people. The fire department fraternity can never be duplicated.
The Humphreys family is very proud of what Joe has accomplished and the number of people he affected in his short time on earth. He truly loved his job and the fire department.
We will hold our memories of Joe very close forever as I know many of you will.
Thanks Again,
Peace to you all,
Tim Humphreys & Family

One of the great sites! I've browsed a fair bit, but will come back again - very informative. Where do you find the time to do it all?
Like yourselves, I'm a Vol. Outer suburb of our State capitol.
Guys, you have THE BEST site. I enjoy the way that it is laid out and how the information is displayed. Also, I wanted to let you know that my 8 year old son just idolizes this site and always asks me, "Dad why can't your fire dept. be like this one?". I just wish that our dept. was like yours.. Take care and Good Luck
