I don't know if this is an old or new site. I am a Mechanicsville resident and came her looking for information on gases and odors that may be found in a home. I don't see a search engine or links for this type information but it would be nice to see in the future. don't get me wrong this is just a suggestion and I may have missed something here. I appreciate what you do and am excited for the volunteers and there new home... take care people

as a county history buff i am impressed by your website,very nice. i would like to know if you object to me posting a few of the older b&w pictures. i would also like to ask if anyone knows the names/locations/dates of some of the fires shown in the photo section. i know andy mac. personally,would he be a/the person to ask,or someone else ? thanks and continue the good work.

To the two guys that were on Brush 2 today....thank you for being at the right place at the right time at the motocross track today and getting that ambulance to us quickly. That rider ended up with a collapsed lung.

I would like to take a moment to THANK YOU ALL for what you did to hlep my son May 15. He was the entrappment on (236) Thompson Corner road. Thank you for making Kyle and his Mustang no longer trapped together, and maiking sure the OV driver was ok as well. They both had a quick flight in PG trauma, which I am also thankful for. My condolences to the members and officers of Mechanicsville VFD.
I worked for Billy in both Waldorf and Mechanicsville at Partco Auto Parts. Whenever I needed time off for Rescue Squad business Billy always allowed it. This included leaving work to respond to a Squad call. He will be missed by all of the fire and rescue community. My prayers go out to his family and friends.
