Thank you for all you do! I took my 3 year old to the Mechanicsville, Md Fire Station to have breakfast with the Easter Bunny. He loves fire fighters, fire engines, and thought the Easter Bunny was so nice. He said he asked the Easter bunny if he had an axe because my Lil guy dresses up as a firefighter all the time and in his costume set it has one included poor costume is falling apart ha ha I've ducked taped the axe and the hat and the jacket is headed that way, this tells you how much he loves pretending to be one (police officer, batman and Mickey Mouse as well). He's watched the sparky the dog videos on this site too. I've taught him fire safety last year and he just loves you all. And he loves seeing Santa ride thru the neighbor around Christmas. My boy wanted me to unzip his jacket when he sat on the Easter bunnies lap because he picked out his fire engine shirt to wear and he told the Easter bunny that firefighters are brace and strong and he wants to be a firefighter too. The Easter Bunny had one of the volunteers to let him see one of the fire engines, an old one. She was a beauty of an engine! My Lil man was so excited and loved how he was also given a couple Easter eggs. And he kept pointing out the firefighters that were eating because he noticed their badges on the clothing. He tells me all the time I don't have to worry about any fires because he will put them out because he is a firefighter and he knows how and he will protect us. He wants to see the actual work in action so I show him videos online. But he keeps saying I want to ride one and see them do it. So cute. You all made his day by having this small event. If ever there's an event for little ones to tour the inside and see the workings of what it entails to be a fire fighter and the fireman pole he wants to see, but that's probably old school, please let me know. Or if any ride alongs. I'll gladly bring him. Thank you all for your service and protecting our community!
