| On September 2nd and 3rd, Club 9-1-1 held a fundraiser to support the Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire and EMS Stations. Although the remnants of tropical storm Ernesto arrived on this same weekend and dampened the efforts they were able to raise close to one thousand dollars. This was split equally among the two departments.
The owners, Ray and Charlotte Mangum, held this grand opening and fundraiser in honor of their son, Justin, who was killed in the line of duty serving our departments.
The Department would like to thank the Mangum family for their continued support as not a day goes by where Justin isn't in our hearts. |
