For weekly drill, firefighters performed equipment checks then utilized a donated vehicle to train in the proper use of pneumatic hand tools during vehicle extrication. Additionally, the Para-Tech Rescue Struts were used to stabilize the vehicle prior to any work being done on it.

For some, this was the first time they had the chance to use such tools as the air chisel, wizzer saw and the Arc Air Cutter. The vehicle was rolled onto its' side and then smashed into a tree to simulate a rollover with the roof pinned against the tree.

Alot of information and knowledge was relayed to the newer members and cadets while for others it was a chance to refresh their skills with tools we don't use on regular basis such as the Hurst Jaws of Life.

Everyone enjoyed the drill on this balmy November evening.
