Motor Vehicle Accident Sends Multiple Victims To Hospital

At 20:39 hours on January 30th, Station-2 was dispatched along with EMS Units from Mechanicsville, Hughesville, Hollywood and the St. Mary's Advance Life Support Unit to a motor vehicle accident with reported one ejected at the intersection of Three Notch Road and the Point Lookout Road.

Chief-2 arrived at 21:41, established the Mechanicsville Command, and began scene size up. There was no one ejected luckily but one subject did suffer a head injury. Squad-2 arrived and assisted with patient care and securing the vehicles involved in the collision. Engine-24 also responded and assisted EMS crews with packaging and loading the patients into the various ambulances.

Three vehicles were involved which required seven people to be transported to St. Mary's Hospital. Two ambulances from Mechanicsville, one from Hughesville and one from Hollywood handled that task.
