Squad 2 Responds to Two Vehicle Collision in New Market

At approximately 2049 hrs Stations 2, 29 and Charles County EMS 2 were alerted for a Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries at the intersection of Thompson Corner Rd and New Market Village Rd.

Squad 2 was first arriving, establishing the New Market Command. Upon arrival of the EMS units the crew from the Squad began to assess the three patients on the scene. After arrival of the EMS units the crew then proceeded to secure the vehicles and assist with patient care and packaging.

Two patients were transported to SMH priority 2 by Ambulance 296 and Ambulance 298; the third patient signed a release. The helicopter was requested however, all were down due to inclement weather.
