26887 Fowler Court, Smoke Coming From The Eaves

On March 10, 2003 firefighters were alerted to a reported house fire at 26887 Fowler Court in Mechanicsville. Captain Pullium arrived on scene with a working chimney fire and smoke coming from the eaves of the house.

Crews opened up the wall around the chimney in the attic area and found no extension. The chimney developed two large cracks up against the house which were revealed once it was opened up.

Crews extinguished the fire in the chimney and units were returned shortly after.
