On Monday evening, June 3rd, the Leonardtown Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary donated stuffed animals to the Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department. These animals are for the firemen to give to children who are involved in accidents and fires. These animals can be a huge comfort to a small child in an emergency situation. MVFD would like to thank the Auxiliary for their kind donation. It is greatly appreciated.
