At 1449 hours, Rescue Squad 2, Squad 1002, and numerous EMS Resources were alerted to Three Notch Road @ Flora Corner Road for an MVA involving an occupied school bus.

Rescue Squad 2, Engine 23, and Chief 2 responded with 10 volunteers at dispatch. Units arrived to find a pick-up truck vs. a school bus “t-bone style” collision.

Crews began assessing the scene and determining a total number of patients and triaging the injured.

23 total patients were seen by EMS on the scene. There were 5 transports to a local hospital, and 4 signed refusals of care. The other 14 patients denied injuries or care.

Units operated on the scene for approximately 1 hour.
