On August 15th, 2002, Station-2 was alerted to respond to 4840 Crain Highway at Andrews Auto Parts for a reported working fire.

Engine-24 responded to the scene and shuttled water while the crew worked for several hours assisting with extinguishment.

Station-2 assisted with a fire watch in the early morning hours on August 16th plus sent a crew back later that day to assist with mop up.

August 15th was a busy day for the Firefighters of Station-2. We were able to send the Tanker to Baden for a large brush fire, responded to the Auto Parts Fire, and kept two crews back at Station-2 to handle calls in the first due.

Station-22 was alerted and brought up Engine-224 so that there was a tanker in the north end. Crews responded to ten incidents and a big thank you is extended to everyone involved. You make us what we are today!
