| At 1956 hours, Rescue Squad 2 was alerted with EMS Stations 29, Charles 2 and SMALS for the report of a pedestrian struck on Three Notch Road at the intersection of New Market Road.
Fire Chief 2 arrived confirming one subject in the roadway and advised all units it was a priority one patient. Command was established and a medevac was requested. EMS personnel immediately packaged the patient who had a faint pulse and once loaded into the ambulance, CPR was initiated.
Unfortunately, the patient succumbed to his injuries despite the valiant effort by all personnel on the scene.
