| At 1432 hours, the assignment was sent to 40419 Waterview Drive in Golden Beach for a reported chimney fire. This brought Stations 22, 2, Charles 2, Charles Truck 3 and EMS Station 29. Engine 224 (Sgt Blizek) arrived on the scene of a one story single family residence with fire in the chimney. Engine 23 (Lt. Barnes) arrived on the scene with Lt Barnes establishing the "Waterview Drive Command" and the first two engines and special service report to the scene and all others stage on Barger Drive. After further assessment, the fire was contained to the chimney and the assignment was scaled back holding Engines 224 and 23. Units operated on the scene for just under and hour. |
