At 0834 hours Company 2 was alerted for the motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Budds Creek Road and Thompson Corner Road involving a overturned tractor and trailer. Initial reports advised there was one trapped.

Rescue Squad 2 (Chief Raley) made the response and while enroute Fireboard communications advised the occupant had been freed and law enforcement was on scene.
Units arrived on the scene and confirmed a tractor and trailer on its side in the ditch with the single occupant out.
The assignment was held with Squad 2, Medic 1, and Ambulance 297.

The driver was assessed and transported to Medstar Saint Marys by Ambulance 297.

The tractor and trailer and its load were checked for any hazards.

Units operated for approximately thirty minutes.
