Hey guys!!! It was great seeing you all show up for our lovely parade again this year, in the rainy weather. I got to talk to a few of you more this time then last and just wanted to say you have some really great people riding with you. Thanks for coming all the way down to the end of the earth, we enjoyed having you here. I just have one question, where was Brooke? I remember her from last year and she was soo cute. You'll have to bring her next time. Well i'm sure i'll see some of you some time. Until then, be safe and keep up the good work.

Hi, being a former member of M.V.F.D Co.2, i was reading the history of the fire dept. and didn't see anything
mentioned about a 1940 dodge fire truck that they had, i remember this truck as seeing it when i was a kid. i was looking at Avenue V.F.D. history and saw it was in there history as been brought from Mechanicsville V.F.D.----
(In December 1949 we purchased a 1940 Dodge with a 500-gallon per minute skid mounted pump from the Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department.)
Thanks,
Thomas M. Burroughs, jr.

Thank you Uncle Shermy for finding "Kitty" and getting her out of the tree. I missed her very much and am happy she is home. Thanks to all the guys (and Miss Sara) for getting uncle Shermy out the tree too. The big truck was cool. My favorite is the tanker. Love, Cody
I wanted to say what a great job everyone did at the Southern Maryland Convention Parade. It truly was an impressive showing and I am extremely proud of each and everyone of you!
Keep it up!!!!

Once again, i just thought i would write to see whats going on around there. I miss being there and running with the real crew. I was talking to some guys here about filling a box. And they had know clue what i was talking about. North carolina clearly does things differently. I see Ronnie is still hard at work on the page. Good Work. I was wondering if it would be possible for me to get some shirts sent to me. If so, can someone hit me up on email to make arrangements. Thanks.

Regarding the accident on March 27, 2004 on Trinity Church Rd. involving pickup truck and red car. Thank you and God bless all of you and the 2 bystanders who rescued our son from his truck. He would not be alive today for he was too dazed to get out of his burning truck. He is recovering from his injuries, although it will be a slow process.
There are not enough words to express our family's depth of gratitude.
Thanks again
