I am deeply saddened by the loss of Neale.He was a great person.The person I always knew would love Stacey forever.Even when she did'nt know it,I did.I just dont know what I am going to do with her now.Stacey we will get you through this Baby Girl.Some how we will get you through this.Van if there is anything I can do for you call me.To Neale's Mother and Father my thoughts are with you and I am so sorry for your loss.To Neale's MVFD family I am sorry for the loss of such a great member.My heart goes out to all of you.Stacey,I know that your heart is broken and I know that you do not know what to do next.Just remember what I told you last night and you will find a way to make it through.I love you.

I never knew Neale personally but I always heard good things about him through other members and co-workers. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and all the members of the Mechanicsville Vol Fire Dept, Rescue Squad and The Maryland State police. I know he will be greatly missed by all.

just wanted to say that everybody will be in my thoughts and prayers. sorry to hear about your member. my boyfriend called me at work and it broke me up to hear about neal. just know that fire departments stick together.

We are here if anyone needs anything and The Slater family will be in our hearts and prayers. Neal will definitley be missed b/c he touched so many people and was a very outgoing person who could always make you smile.

Thank you Brandi Shorter for being our guest instructor at MVRS' drill. The Radio Training was well appriciated by all that attended. Many of us forget what the dispatchers are required to do from their side of the radio. Thank you for explaining the radio procedures for us.
