We have sent 3 pickup loads (turnout, scba, etc) and they were very grateful for the donations.

My name is Nicole Barrows and I was involved in the fatal collision between a tractor trailer and a car on 8/24/2005 on Rt. 234. No one has really been able to tell me much about who responded to the call but, I'm hoping someone here could tell me who pulled me and my now 3 month old daughter from the car. I just want to say thank you to the MVFD for saving my life. I was one of the victims thrown out of the truck on Sept. 30 2005... I just want to say thank you so much for saving my life.. Great website, nice meeting everyone down their hope to be back soon.

Was checking out my FD page (Delmar, DE) and noticed Sara had stopped by. Figured i'd drop in a note and say hi. I doubt anyone besides Ronnie Raley remembers me but i used to run with Leonardtown VFD. I'm in Salisbury with my application into them for Fire, and i run with Delmar EMS. Glad to know things are still up and running in the County =) I assume Ronnie's still running the website, it looks great ! Keep up the good work guys.

August 10,2005 Station 2-22&29 responded to a call on Chaptico Rd. for a car overturned, 1 person was trapped inside and the car was in a ditch. I hope that all the firemen/women reading this will see that we are very greatful that you came to help our daughter. Without your quick response she might not of made it out alive. I also want to thank all of the people that called for help. Our greatest gift that we have is our children & without ours, I don't know where we would be as a family without her in our lives. Thank you so much for saving our daughter. You will always be remembered in our prayers,form this day on.
