Water Supply
Water Supply Task Force (Engine 21 & Tanker 2)

ENGINE 21

This engine is set up for operations at a tanker fill site. This unitcan support 1000 gpm fill rates through 4" LDH. It utilizes a dual fill site preconnect manifold to permithook-up and disconnect operations while filling another tanker.

Engine 21

The following equipment is carried on this unit:

- 1250 GPM midship pump
- 38 feet hard suction hose

- 1200 feet 4" LDH supply line 
- Preconnected fill site 4" x 2- 4" jumbo gated wye
- Preconnected dual fill lines with quick connect couplings
- 8 spare quick connect 2 1/2" couplings for incoming tanker direct fills
- Floating strainer

 

TANKER 2

This unit is setup for tanker shuttle operations. It can dump at 1500 gpm or pumpoff at rates in excess of 1000 gpm through a single 4"discharge. Tank capacity is 3000 gallons. It has a secondary role as a Class A foam supply unit.

Tanker 2

The following equipment is carried on this unit:

- 1250 gpm midship pump
- 10" rear quick dump with elbow dump chute for side dump capability
- 4" direct fill with 2 1/2 inch female adapter preconnected
- 6" direct fill with 30 feet of soft suction preconnected
- Floating pump
- 3500 gallon folding tank
- 30 feet of hard suction hose
- Floating strainer
- Low level strainer
- Transfer siphon
- 4 1/2" x 4" Stortz adapter
- 5" x 6" adapter
- 1200 feet of 3" supply line
- Floating pump
- Built in balanced pressure Class A foam system
- 20 gal Class A foam tank (20,000 gal foam/water capability at 0.1%)
- Portable Class A/B 1 1/2" foam eductor
- Portable Class A/B 2 1/2" foam eductor
- 40 gal Class A foam in 5 gal pails
- 40 gal Class B foam (3/6% ATC AFFF) in 5 gal pails
