One Flown from Budds Creek

At 0015 hours, the rescue local was alerted to Budds Creek Road and Thompson Corner Road for the motor vehicle accident, reported one into the woods.

Units arrived to find a single vehicle well into the woods with the driver trapped. With this info, Charles Station 14 was alerted to the incident. A door pop was needed to free the driver and the patient was extricated in about ten minutes. Once a thorough assessment was completed a medevac was requested and Trooper 7 was alerted to the incident.

Charles Engine 141 established the landing site for Trooper 7 and the victim was flown to Prince Georges General.

Units operated on the scene for an hour.
