| Just prior to midnight, Stations 2, 22, Charles 2, 7, Truck 7 and Ambulance 296 were alerted to 28310 Flora Corner Road for the reported house on fire. An occupant came to Station 2 advising there was a fire at that address. Chief 2A, who was enroute to the station, requested a fire investigator as the address was the scene of prior suspicious fires. Units arrived to find a working fire involving a motor home and firefighters quickly advanced two attack lines and extinguished the fire. Part of Engine 23's crew conducted a search of the vehicle as one occupant was initially unaccounted for. After conversing with family on the scene firefighters realized that the occupant was the one who came to the station to report the fire. Chief Craig established "Command" and advised she was going to hold units from Stations 2 and Charles 2 along with Ambulance 296. Firefighters checked the residence under construction and, once again, found an accelerant poured throughout and several places where someone had tried to ignite it. The scene was secured to await the fire marshal and the incident was scaled back to units from Station 2 to mop up. Units operated on the scene for just under three hours. The incident is under investigation in conjunction with the previous one by the State Fire Marshal's Office. **Video from Engine 23 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GD1EeOttgg |
