At 2122 hours, Station 2 along with EMS Stations 29 and 19 were alerted to the intersection of Point Lookout Road and Chaptico Road in Helen for the motor vehicle accident. Initial reports advised three vehicles with personal injury.

Chief 2A (Raley) arrived on location with EMS personnel and advised there were two vehicles involved and checking on injuries. The "Point Lookout Road Command" was established at this time. All occupants were out of the vehicles. Squad 2 (Lt Hemming) was advised to position across Point Lookout Road to shield the scene and provide scene lighting.

Initially, only one occupant wanted to be transported thus command cancelled Ambulance 199. The squad crew split into two teams with one assisting with patient packaging and the other securing the vehicles. The second occupant ended up changing her mind so Ambulance 199 was requested back to the scene.

Two patients were transported to St. Mary's Hospital, one priority three and the other priority two.
After all patients were transported personnel off of Squad 2 cleared the roadway of debris and turned the scene over to law enforcement.

Units operated for forty minutes on the incident.
