At 0935 hours Station 2, along with EMS Station 29, Charles 2 and Medic-1 were alerted to 29890 Three Notch Road, in Charlotte Hall, for a motor vehicle collision involving a tractor and trailer with reported serious injuries.

Charles Paramedic Ambulance-38 was at Prince Frederick Road in Hughesville and requested to run the call. Ambulance-299 arrived on location advising three vehicles with one injured and two refusals, also requesting a medevac. Immediately after that radio transmission, EMS Chief-29 advised Fireboard Communications that the injured person was now a trauma code. EMS personnel on the scene revived the victim and he was loaded onto MSP Trooper-7 and medevaced to Prince George's General as a Priority-1 patient. Charles Station 2 was alerted to establish the landing site.

The Squad crew assisted EMS personnel and secured both vehicles. The tractor and trailer was sitting at the intersection and was hit by one of the vehicles sustaining only minor damage.

Charles Tanker-2 handled the landing site at nearby St. Mary's Landing ball field.

A valiant effort by all those on the scene, including a AAA Ambulance who stopped at the scene to render assistance, resulted in reviving the victim who was still alive at the time of this story. Great job by all!
