On March 7, 2004 at 1959 hours, Stations 2, 22, Charles 2, 5, Truck Company 3 and EMS Station 29 were alerted to a reported apartment fire at 28370 Woodburn Hill Rd.
Engine-23 responded immediately, fully staffed. Fireboard Communications advised that callers were reporting that the side of the apartment building was on fire.

Engine-23 arrived on the scene to find a small fire, on side-4 of the address, which had extended under the access steps for the apartments on the second floor. Engine 23's crew extinguished the fire with a water can and did minor overhaul.

Units were placed in service and Engine-23 operated on the scene for just under 15 minutes. Only cosmetic damage was done to the apartments and the firestarted from a malfunctioning electrical outlet.
