In the early morning hours of December 18th Stations 2, 29, and the Medic Unit were dispatched for an MVA on Thompson Corner Rd. in the area of Millwood Lane. Initial indications reported a single vehicle overturned possibly with one subject trapped inside.

While en route, Fireboard communications advised that the Sherriff's Office was on the scene reporting one with a head injury. Rescue Squad 2 arrived shortly after establishing the "Thompson Corner Rd. Command" while finding a single pick-up truck that had overturned and came to a rest on top of a wooden pole. The Squad's crew immediately began stabilizing the vehicle and also confirmed one subject still in the vehicle. After stabilization of the vehicle was complete the crew then proceeded to remove the door on the passenger's side of the truck. Shortly after, the subject was removed from the vehicle and turned over to the awaiting EMS Crew.

After a thorough assesment of the patient was complete, the EMS crew on the scene requested the helicopter. The crew advised the subject now had an altered mental status.

Squad 2 handled the Landing Site as Trooper 2 was landed on the scene. The subject was transported to PG General and Rescue Squad 2 cleared shortly after.
