On Sunday, April 15th, the Mechanicsville Volunteers participated in a friendly softball tournament. This event was organized and hosted by the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department and also included the Leonardtown Volunteer Fire Department and the Seventh District Volunteer Fire Department.

Over 200 members and family members spent the day together enjoying the brotherhood and a little different pace from the daily activities that go on at our stations.

During the tournament Companies 7 and 1 responded to one emergency incident that they were alerted to.

We would like to thank Company 7 for organizing this event and we look forward to continuing to work together with the North Side Fire Departments on and off incident scenes.
