Rescue Squad 2 was alerted to a motor vehicle accident with a reported vehicle overturned and entrapment on Point Lookout Road in the area of Foley Mattingly Road in Helen.

The Rescue and Fire Chief arrived confirming the dispatched information and set up for extrication with the Chief establishing the command. With the assistance of Rescue Squad 1 and Engine 23's personnel the extrication was completed and EMS triaged the patient. A helicopter was requested to transfer to an area trauma center.

Engine 23 established the landing zone for Trooper 7 at Margaret Brent Middle School.

The patient was medevaced to Capital Region Medical Center and units cleared the scene shortly afterwards.
