At 0922 hours, Engine and Tanker 2 were alerted to 28931 Livingston Drive in Mechanicsville for the reported house on fire. Engine Tanker 2 and Chief 2A arrived with a two story on a basement with fire showing from the garage with extension to the first and second floors. Crews made an aggressive push with four handlines in service bringing the fire under control in approximately twenty-five minutes.

Extensive overhaul was done and the assignment was scaled back to the units from Stations 2, 7, 1 and Tanker 1002.

Engine 93 and Tanker 63 provided fill in coverage while units operated on this incident.
