Our rookie firefighters have worked extremely hard on the basic fundamentals of fire fighting and emergency services this year. On December 4th the operational officers decided to use our burn trailer to let them have some fun. The drill allowed for the younger members to see the behavior of fire, begin to understand the feeling of heat while wearing their gear as well as work on the concept of “hydraulic ventilation”. These younger members are held to a high standard and they continue to grow each day within our department.
