On June 19th your Mechanicsville Volunteers attended the Maryland State Fireman’s Parade in Ocean City Maryland. Several members made the drive over with Car 2, Retired Engine 21, and Engine 23.

Company 2 members had an outstanding showing and received the following awards:

*Best appearing Engine 1250 gpm - Engine 23
*Best appearing Antique - Old Engine 21
*Second best appearing Command Unit- Car 2

Hats off to our members who worked very hard to get the apparatus cleaned, as well as maintaining other station duties and calls for service over the last week.
