Company Goes to Longview Beach

On Thursday, at 1841 hours, Engine 2 and Tanker 2 were alerted to 23132 Pleasant Lane in Longview Beach for the House on Fire.

Engine 23(Lt. Busl) and Tanker 2(Sgt. Burroughs) went enroute with 8 at dispatch. Tanker 24(Capt. Bryant) also made the response with 5 additional personnel moments later.

Captain 5 and Engine 52 were first to arrive, locating a one-story, single family home with fire showing from 2 sides and reports of 3 dogs trapped.

Engine 23 arrived next and the crew utilized a handling to back-up and assist Engine 52 with extinguishment and opening up. Tanker 2 arrived and assisted with Water Supply.

Tanker 24 staged before being released a short time later. Engine 23 and Tanker 2 operated for approximately 2 hours before returning to service.

Chief 7 held the Longview Beach Command.
