Just after 0200 hours Rescue Squad 2 and Rescue Engine 22 responded for the reported serious accident on Thompson Corner Road.
Units found a single vehicle that had struck a pole with no entrapment.
EMS consulted for a Category Charlie, Priority 2 Trauma patient.

Rescue Engine 22 established the landing zone at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home and Trooper 7 flew to Prince Georges Trauma Center.
Units operated for approximately one hour.
