The Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department would like to congratulate Probationary F/F Jacob Mahaffey, Probationary F/F Jake Senatore, Probationary F/F Ryan Talton, and Probationary F/F KeSean Bush on their completion of the 2017-2018 St. Mary’s County Fire and Rescue Cadet Class. These four gentlemen have been enrolled in the class throughout the school year and have been able to complete the following classes:
•Firefighter 1
•Hazmat operations
•Rescue Technician: Site Operations
•Rescue Technician: Vehicle Machinery

F/F Senatore received the 1st place award for the two Rescue Technician classes as he scored exceptionally well on his written exams and preformed very well on the practical evolutions.

These gentlemen have done a spectacular job all year and always pushed themselves to be the best!
