On Thursday, at 1446 hours, Engine 2 was alerted to 5010 Gallant Green Road, in that area, for the reported house fire as the 5th due Engine.

Engine 23 responded with 4 men at dispatch. While enroute, the station was re-alerted for the Tanker, as Hughesville units were arriving with a working fire, as well as the Station being alerted for a First Due accident.

Engine 23 arrived on scene as the "2nd Due Engine" and the crew went to work operating on Division 1 and 2 of the home, and the driver setting up water supply operations out of the folding tank from Hughesvilles Tanker. Crews found fire in the attic of an addition on division 1, in the walls and in one room of division 2, and in the attic of division 2.

Engine-Tanker 24 arrived and staged before being released and Squad 2 handled the accident in the first due.

Engine 23 operated for approximately 2 hours before returning to service.
