On Monday, December 26th the Mechanicsville Volunteers made a special delivery to a very special boy who has a very special spot in our hearts. Nolan Scully, a little boy who has been battling a rare soft tissue cancer and is still battling today, has touched the hearts of many in our community. Nolan has shown us the real meaning of "strong" and he lives up to that word each and every day. As he continuous his fight, the Mechanicsville Volunteers wanted to get him something special to keep him rollin. So a couple of guys took "rollin Nolan" some nice gifts along with some nice things for his mother and father Jonathan and Ruth Scully. When we arrived Nolan was very happy to see us as much as we were happy to see him. We want to thank you Nolan for being such an inspiration to not only our department but to many others around you. You really are the true meaning of strong and we pray that you continue to fight and overcome this cancer! We would also like to thank Nolan's parents for allowing us to visit this special little man.
