Engine and Tankers Run Colton Point House Fire

At 0446 hours, Stations 5, 1, 2, 7, Truck 1, Truck 7, Charles Squad 1002, EMS Stations 59 and 29 were alerted to a house fire on Windy Lane in Colton's Point. Fireboard advised a neighbor called reporting a house fire.

First arriving units encountered a two story, single family residence with a working fire. Crews found fire on side "Charlie" and in Division 2. Chief 5 established the command upon his arrival. All occupants were out of the house upon arrival of the first in units.

Engine 23's crew assisted with fire attack while the driver set up draft out of Tanker 5's folding tank. Tanker 2 and Engine-Tanker 2 were utilized in the tanker shuttle.

The fire is under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshals Office.

Units operated for several hours.
