On Friday evening, just after 2100 hours, the Rescue and Tanker were alerted to Patuxent Woods Lane in Hughesville for a house fire with subjects trapped. Rescue 2 and Tanker 2 went with 7 at dispatch.

First arriving engine companies arrived with a house "fully involved" and an occupant in the front yard. Rescue 2 arrived as the first due special service and went to work as the same.

The crew performed searches, opened up for the Engine Companies, and began setting up scene lighting.

Tanker 2 dumped 3000 gallons of water before returning. Rescue 2 operated for approximately 4 hours assisting with overhaul and the fire marshals investigation.
