At 2313 hours, Engine 21, Rescue Engine 22, Rescue 2, and Chief 2A responded to the 25900 block of Prospect Hill Road for the reported kitchen fire.

Arriving units found a single story, single family home with nothing evident. Engine 21 laid in from the hydrant with Charles Engine 1014 picking up their line. Units found a fire out (knocked by the homeowner with an extinguisher), behind a kitchen stove that had been in use. Rescue 2 opened up the wall and checked for extension with the thermal imager.

Units operated for approximately thirty minutes.
