At 1755 hours, Engine and Tanker 2 were alerted to the area of Woodbush Drive and Longview Boulevard for the working house fire. Initial reports advised of a vacant house under construction with fire showing.

Engine 52 arrived laying out from Longview Blvd and Woodbush Drive with Tanker 5 establishing their water supply. Engine 21 arrived and advanced an additional line to the structure and started darkening down the fire with Engine 52's crew.

Additional tankers were alerted and Engine 72 was sent to Lagoon Drive to establish the water supply. Crews operated on an offensive attack for several minutes until the building became unstable and all crews were pulled out of the structure. Crews utilized several hand lines to extinguish the fire. Once overhaul was completed, the incident was scaled back to the units from Stations 5, 2 and 1.

Crews operated for approximately three hours before returning to quarters.

Charles Engine 1010 filled Station 2 during the incident.
