At 2021 hours, Stations 2, Charles 1002, Charles 1005 and Charles Truck 1003 were alerted to the area of Circle Road and Shoreview Drive for the reported shed on fire. Shortly after, the assignment was upgraded to a house on fire bringing Charles Tanker 1010, Prince George's Tanker 836, Truck 7 and Rescue Squad 7.

Rescue Engine 22 arrived to find a one story, single family abandoned house fully involved. The crew stretched the 400' 1.75" attack line and started knocking down the fire. Charles Engine 1002B arrived and advanced an additional 1.75" and crews quickly knocked down the bulk of the fire in fifteen minutes.

The crews from Truck 7 and Rescue Squad 7 assisted with overhaul and lighting.

Units operated on the scene for approximately three hours.

The incident is under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshals Office.
