Volunteers Handle Another Serious Accident

At 0555 hours, the assignment was alerted to Thompson Corner Road in the area of White Marsh Elementary School for the motor vehicle accident, reported serious with possible ejection.

Rescue Squad 2 arrived to find a single vehicle that had went head on into a tree and was fully involved. Fire Chief 2 established the "Thompson Corner Road Command". The operator had been pulled out of the vehicle prior to arrival. The crew stretched the bumper line, knocked the fire and checked the vehicle for additional occupants, which proved negative.

A medevac was requested and Trooper 7 flew to Prince George's General.

Units operated for over an hour.
