At 1301 hours, Rescue Squad 2 was alerted to a collision on North Sandgates Road. One patient needed to be extricated from the vehicle utilizing the HURST Rescue Tools. Rescue Squads 7 & 2 worked in unison to free the patient.

One patient was transported to St. Mary's Hospital while the second patient was flown by Trooper 2 to a local Trauma Center. Engine 72 handled the Landing Zone at Oakville Elementary School.
