At 0457 hours, RES2CUE was alerted to Old Village Road in the area of Mechanicsville Elementary School for the motor vehicle accident. Initial reports advised of a single vehicle into a utility pole.

The rescue arrived on scene, giving a corrected address of Old Village and Stasch Road and confirmed one into a utility pole. The occupant was out of the vehicle. The crew secured the pick-up and awaited EMS to arrive.

The ambulance obtained a signed refusal of care as the patient was taken to the hospital by a family member.

Units operated for forty minutes.
