At 1740 hours, Rescue Squad 2, Company 29, and Charles EMS 2 were alerted to All Faith Church Road for a reported single vehicle into a pole. Rescue Squad 2 and Car 2 responded shortly after dispatch and Engine 23 was rerouted from a standby.

Rescue Squad 2 arrived and confirmed one vehicle into a pole with the occupant self extricated from the vehicle. Due to the damage to the pole and wires on the vehicle, Southern Maryland Electric Company was requested to the scene. Ambulance 298 assessed the patient and obtained a signed refusal.

Units operated on the scene for approximately twenty minutes.
