At 1109 hours Engine Companies 7, 2, 1, and 9, as well as Truck 1 were dispatched to across from 26155 Barnes Court in Oakville for the reported working house fire.

Engine 24 arriving first due laid a supply line from Barnes Ct and Independence Drive. Engine 24 went on scene with a small, single story, single family dwelling with nothing evident.

An attack line was stretched while a 360 check was completed. The front door was forced and crews found a fire in the bathroom with minor extension to the attic which was extinguished.

The assignment was quickly scaled back to Companies 7, 2, and 1 for overhaul.
