Motor Vehicle Accident with Vehicle Fire in New Market

On the morning of March 30, 2002, Station 2 was alerted for a motor vehicle accident with injuries in New Market. The accident was reported to be in front of the ADF Bingo Hall in New Market.

Communications then advised that one vehicle was on fire. Further information from callers advised the fire had been extinguished.

Rescue Squad 2 arrived on the scene with the correct location of Three Notch Road and New Market Turner Road. Being the first unit on the scene, the crew from Rescue Squad 2 started patent care and secured both vehicles.

The injuries sustained in this accident were minor, one subject was transported priority three to SMH. The other subject signed a refusal.
