At 1449 hours the Station was alerted for the brush fire on Harpers Corner Road in the area of Sandy Acres Lane. While Brush 2 was responding, additional calls were being received advising a shed was now involved. With this information, the assignment was upgraded and alerted Charles Station 2, 7, 1, Truck 7 and EMS Station 29.

Brush 2 arrived and stretched a 1.5" line and started knocking down the fire. Charles Engine 22 arrived next and laid into the scene and deployed a couple handlines to finish extinguishing the fire and mop up hot spots. Engines 24 and 74 established water supply.

Captain 7 held the "Harpers Corner Road Command".

Units operated for an hour and fifteen minutes.
