At 1101 hours, Engine Companies 2, 5, and 1, Truck 1, Water Supply 5 and EMS Stations 29 and 59 were alerted to Budds Creek Road in the area of Woodmark Court for a reported barn fire. Engine 21(Sgt. Raley), Engine 24(S/O McHone), and Tanker 2(FF Pilkerton) all made the response at dispatch.

Engines 21 and 24 arrived first, with Engine 21 laying out at the end of the driveway, finding a twenty by twenty shed fully-involved. Crews stretched hand line and made quick work of fire. Units had extensive mop-up as the shed was used as a horse stall and was loaded with straw.

Units operated for approximately one hour before picking up and returning.
