Pedestrian Struck in Charlotte Hall

At 1520 hours, the Rescue was alerted to Three Notch Road in the area of Golden Beach Road for the motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian struck.

Fire Chief 2 arrived on scene as the call was being dispatched to find a male subject laying in the median being tended to by medical personnel. He established command and requested a medevac due to the patients injuries. Firefighters assisted with patient packaging and assisted Charles Ambulance 1002B's crew.

Ambulance 296 obtained a signed refusal from the operator of the vehicle.

Rescue Engine 22 cleared the scene and secured the landing site at the helo pad located on the grounds of the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. Trooper 2 flew their patient to P.G. General.

Units operated for forty-five minutes on the incident.
