Volunteers remained steady over the Thanksgiving holiday and on "Black Friday" at 1148 hours, Squad 2 was alerted for an MVA at the Charlotte Hall Transfer Station for a possible pedestrian struck. The Squad arrived to find no injuries and returned to service.

Just after clearing the first incident, Rescue Box 2-12 was alerted at 1235 hours, to Point Lookout Road and Birch Manor Drive for a motor vehicle accident with reports of subjects trapped. This brought the Assistant Chief, the Rescue Squad, the Rescue Engine, Charles Squad 2, and multiple EMS units. The Squad and Assistant Chief arrived first to find the passenger trapped in one of the vehicles after sustaining a rear end collision. Crews worked to extricate the patient who subsequently required being transported to PG Trauma Center by Trooper 7. The Rescue Engine handled the LZ.

At 1554 hours, Engine 2 was alerted to the Charlotte Hall transfer Station once again, this time for a reported compactor on fire. Engine 24 arrived and found a smoldering fire in the compactor and extinguished the same.

While returning from the above incident, Rescue Box 2-01 was alerted for the pedestrian struck in the parking lot of the Charlotte Hall Wawa. Chief 2B and Engine 24 arrived first to find a priority one patient unconscious and requested a helo to transport the patient. Units operated for approximately one hour on the scene.

Engine 23 then went to the Annual Christmas tree lighting in Leonardtown Square once all units were in quarters from the incidents. While at the tree lighting Engine 23 handled a motor vehicle accident on Point Lookout Road and Washington Street and operated on the scene for ten minutes.
