Company Runs Working House Fire in Charles |

On Saturday evening, around 1700 hours, Charles County alerted Engine Companies 14, 10, St. Marys 2, 6, Truck 1, NDW Truck 28, Squad 2, and several tankers to Bowling Drive for a reported working house fire. Engine 23(SO McHone) made the response with 4 at dispatch. First arriving units from 14 arrived and found fire showing from all three floors of the three-story farm house and advised it was going to be a defensive operation and to start a Tanker Task Force. With that, Engine 23 arrived moments later and assisted with fire attack and Station 2 was realerted for the tanker on the task force. Engine 24(AFC Trowbridge) made the response with 4 as the tanker and arrived to assist with fire attack and water supply. Units operated for approximately 2 hours before returning to service. |
